Inga Cotton wool is the Founder and Executive Manager of San Antonio Lease Moms. She graduated from Trinity Academy with a bachelor's caste in history and earned a law degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She has two children attending charter schools: Annika is in sixth grade at the Schoolhouse of Scientific discipline and Engineering science—Alamo, and Nicholas is in ninth class at the School of Science and Technology—San Antonio. San Antonio Charter Moms began in April 2012 as a blog where Inga could spread the word near new charter schools opening in the surface area and share her thoughts about searching for schools that are the correct fit for her own children. By 2018, the blog evolved into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and now shares information across many platforms—including social media, live videos, podcasts, a mobile app, newsletters, and an online discussion group—and covers many types of schools, including in-commune charter schools, magnet schools, private schools, homeschooling, online schools, microschools, and enrichment activities. Inga speaks on a diversity of education topics and encourages families to become more civically engaged and advocate for better education in our community.
